Group tweets bomb threats to American Airlines
American Airlines has diverted a flight carrying Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley after receiving a bomb threat from the groupclaiming responsibilityfor today’s PlayStation Network outage.
Smedleyconfirmedhis San Diego-bound flight was diverted to Phoenix, Arizona,addingthe decision had something to do with security and the plane’s cargo.Earlier in the afternoon, the supposed hackers sent messages to American Airlines, asserting the plane had“explosives on-board.”
