You’re a Squid now…temporarily
For any of the people who were holding out on grabbingSplatoon, Nintendo is bringing back the Testfire demo next week. Now you, too, can experience the glory of the squid sisters on your own.
The demo will be running from August 25 – 28 between the hours of 3:00 PM PT and 5:00 PM PT (6:00 PM ET and 8:00 PM ET). Four weapons (Splattershot, Splattershot Jr., Splat Roller, and Splat Charger) and two maps (Saltspray Rig, Walleye Warehouse) will be on offer in the demo.
Nintendo also offered up some statistics aboutSplatoon:
“To date, ink blasted from all modes and Splatfests inSplatoonhave covered three million virtual square miles, which is equal in size to Australia, or approximately the size of the contiguous United States!Splatoonhas also sold over four million units worldwide since it launched last year.”
I loved the demo when it originally ran. I also had quite a bit of fun with the main game. Our very own Chris Carter loved the game in hisreview, so hopefully you guys do, too.
