In an interview with DasGamer, Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda Goichi talked about his upcoming projects: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle and his top-secret project where he’ll be working alongside Shinji Mikami for EA. And speaking of EA, he says that we shouldn’t worry about that partnership.

When asked about the U.S. release date ofNo More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, Goichi said that while it has not been announced for the States yet, that is his main target — the U.S. and Europe. So no worries there. In it, he says that Travis’ new adventures will revolve around a theme of revenge, and that it will be much harder than its predecessor.

On his secret project with Mikami and EA, he only teased that the game would be “very crazy.” DasGamer asked him about the EA relationship, pointing out that some consider the publisher to be “soulless.”

Here in Japan, and for me personally, I didn’t really have this image of EA being soulless company. For me they were just another company, a publisher that publishes games. You don’t make games between companies, you make games between people. You shouldn’t worry about this project between Grasshopper and EA. I have a really good relationship with an executive producer at EA, and he really understands what we’re doing, and between that and Mikami-san who is also producing the game.
