Through August 9
Man I love theSuper Smash Bros.community. They’ve heard the phrase “Smashisn’t a fighting game” for years on end (I used to argue onSmash 64‘s behalf in my middle school cafeteria), but they’ve remained one of the most passionate communities, constantly hosting tournaments and finding new tech for games that are over a decade old.
Today, the firstSuper Smash Conkicks off at the Dulles Expo Center in Virginia. It’ll feature live music, vendors, panels, contests, and tournaments. TheBrawltournament is tonight, followed by64and Wii U tomorrow, and of course,Meleewill cap the entire event off on Sunday night. Many pro players (likeLeffen) will be competing, and VGBootCampwill be providing streams. Here’s thefull schedule of events.

I’ll be in attendance, so expect some pictures from the showfloor later today.
