It was onlythis morningthat hints of a Steam version forSuperbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EPhad entered the conversation; now we’ve got a confirmation fromthe powers that be. This is really happening, and sooner rather than later.

The game will first arrive on PC “before the next dark moon.” According to the announcement video, it’ll be available for purchase on April 16. As for the Mac build, the hint being offered is “before the summer solstice.” The developers ofS:S&S EPsay it’s “been minorly adapted to better suit player input via the two-button mouse, and some audiovisual elements have been subtly refined as appropriate…”

If I kept a list of games that could convince me to buy an iPad,Sword & Sworcerywould probably sit firmly at the top. Thankfully, I’ve never been a list maker — not even for groceries. Looks like my disorganization has finally paid off. Those making the trip to PAX East this weekend will want to swing by the Capy booth.
