DNF 2013 is based on levels from original DNF trailer
Gearbox’sDuke Nukem Forevermay be a let down, but things are looking up with the release of a fan-made mod that recreatesDuke Nukem Forever‘s E3 2001 trailerin theDuke Nukem 3Dengine. The results are glorious.
Let me tell you. I have rode a donkey at approx. 3 miles per hour while shooting pigs with a shotgun, as a nuclear explosion happens off in the distance. Like I said, glorious.
This five map modcan be downloaded for free at Mod DB. You will need drop the “duke3d.grp” file from yourDuke Nukem 3Dfolder intoDNF 2013‘s directory to play the game. Whether you have a CD copy, GOG download, or Steam version, it should run.
DNF2013 includes all the nice mod plugins like high-res texture, widescreen support, and mouse look. The whole thing is an unbelievably well done package for something that is basically a joke and bizarre fan service.
