Breath of the Wild 2 would be…wild

Monolith Soft, the studio that brought upsXenoblade Chronicles, is looking to hire artists, designers, and programmers for the nextZeldaproject.

While this isn’t fully confirmed to be the next coreZelda, it’s another entry nonetheless, and Monolith Soft isn’t hiding it with a giganticZelda-themed landing page on the recruitment portion of their site. Note thatZeldagenerally only has one core console entry per generation with a few exceptions (it’s tough to really put the “end of life” ports likeTwilight Princesson GameCube andBreath of the Wildon Wii U in the same category asMajora’s Maskfollowing upOcarina of Time), but with the long legs of the Switch it could easily host two.

In addition to developing their own IPs likeXenoblade(which is now three games strong across the Wii, Wii U, and Switch platforms) they’re also an invaluable part of Nintendo’s DNA when it comes to open world RPGs.
