How to fix Error 46 in Throne and Liberty
Like most errors, make sure to restartThrone and Libertyif you encounter Error 46. Several major issues, likeanti-cheat-related troubles, are known to resolve on their own once you start a fresh iteration of the game. The same could be true in this case, but I actually used another solution.
This potential fix for Error 46 was posted on the game’s subreddit a few days back by user u/Conscious_Ease8344. This method worked like a charm for me when I encountered this error, and there hasn’t been a reemergence since. It appears that if you manage to brickThrone and Liberty, Error 46 could appear. For some undisclosed reason, the problem seems to be with the executable file, which prevents you from running the game normally. Here’s how you can fix the problem.
Once done, open your Steam library and locateThrone and Liberty.From the settings menu, check the integrity of your downloaded files once. This will redownload the file you deleted earlier and help you run the game normally without any issues.
Do note that the method mentioned here is similar to reinstalling the entire game. However, you’re only deleting a smaller file instead of everything that you had downloaded. Naturally, it will take lot less time for Steam to re-download a smaller file compared to downloading all the files once again.
