I’m sorry, Samit, but the only “sports” games I’ll touch are golf ones. EA’sTiger Woods PGA Touris one of the best. They may not be great in the graphics department, but they excel in the gameplay department — kind of like Tiger himself. He may not be great in the loyalty department, but he excels in the game play department.
EA has announcedTiger Woods PGA Tour 11for this summer, coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and iPhizzy. They also announced that today kicks off thepublic betaofTiger Woods PGA Tour Online, which lets you try it out for free. Me? I’m not touching it. It’s browser-based, and seeing as how my work is also browser-based, I’ll never get anything done.
I hope the Wii version ofPGA Tour 11supports the revolutionary (yes, I said that) Wii MotionPlus controls. The addition of these controls inPGA Tour 10made it a fantastic game.
