The launch of the PlayStation 4 has greatly influenced PlayStation Vita sales, according to Sony.
After the PS4 launched, PS Vita sales saw a 68 percent increase, followed by a 65 percent increase the very next week. Ben Law, Sony’s senior product manager, revealed that, “PS Vita sales wise we are continuing to see strong week-on-week growth since our latest campaign kicked in.”
The campaign Law is referring to was launched around the same time as the release of the PS4, and focuses heavily on the Vita’s cross-functionality features (such as Remote Play).
