If you’ve just paid Jonathas a visit inFinal Fantasy XIVto get yourself some new Facewear or the newWater emote, and you’ve found yourself wondering, “what exactly is a Cascadier Uniform Voucher?” then you’re not alone, and this is nothing new.

This is a question that has been asked since the very beginning of A Realm Reborn, and it never gets any more obvious what you’re supposed to do with them. Whether you started playing a decade earlier or just a week ago, there has never been an in-game explanation for these mysterious vouchers.

When I first started playing five years ago, I had a very helpful friend talk me through the process. And now, here I am, passing that information on to you.

How to get Cascadier Uniform Vouchers in Final Fantasy XIV

Cascadier Uniform Vouchers can be purchased in exchange for Achievement Certificates from Jonathas in Old Gridania (X:10.6, Y:6.2). They cost two Achievement Certificates each, and you’ll need two of them.

Achievement Certificates are earned in exchange for Achievement Points, and even if you’ve only been playing for a short period of time, you’ll definitely have enough to get some Cascadier Uniform Vouchers and still have enough to get anything else that Jonathas has for sale.

How to use Cascadier Uniform Vouchers in Final Fantasy XIV

This is where things start to get a little bit convoluted. Once you’ve got your two Cascadier Uniform Vouchers, you’ll need to go to Mor Dhona and seek out Aelina (X:22.7, Y:6.7). She’s one of the three vendors at the top of the hill and just to the right.

Talk to her and select “Uncanny Knickknacks”, then scroll all the way to the bottom, past the miscellaneous gear and weapons, until you find the four following level 1 glamour items at the bottom:

I’m not sure precisely what this is the uniform for, but these are the only four items you’re able to get in exchange for your Cascadier Uniform Vouchers.

Now, bear in mind that which items you can wear depends on what gender your character is. Female characters can wear the summer Halter and Tanga, while male characters can wear the Summer Top and Trunks.

Once you’ve got the items, you can place them in your Glamour Dresser as an Outfit Glamour, or in the Armoire to save some space. They can then be found under the “Exclusive Extras” tab inside the Armoire to be used as part of your Glamours. However, these items cannot be dyed and have a very limited use, so unless you’re headed off on a summer vacation and don’t mind showing rather a lot of skin, they’ll likely sit in your Armoire untouched for the most part.

But still, it’s good to have them just in case, I suppose.
