Varon Vamori is an important quest-tied NPC to find inOblivion Remastered, but finding him can be a tricky affair if you don’t know where to look.
Vamori is introduced to you once you start the Bravil Recommendation quest. You’ll have to positively find him to retrieve the Mage’s Staff, which is an essential part of this quest. He has a fixed set of locations, but his favorable spot changes depending on the hour of the day.
Varon Vamori’s location in Oblivion Remastered
The first task is to travel to Bravil, where all the action takes place. Head west, and you’ll come across the Mage’s Guild, right next to the dock. Go inside, and you’ll find Kud-Ei. She will ask you to find Varon Vamori and get back the Mage’s Staff. For the following step, having the Beguile spell will be immensely helpful.
For most NPCs, the quest marker is an easy way to track them down. For Vamori, that method doesn’t work, as he roams all around Bravil. Here are some locations to keep in mind, based on the hour of the day.
After you find Vamori, use theBeguile spell. Your target is to raise the meter above 70, and he will then tell you about the Staff. Without this part, the Bravil Recommendation quest will remain unfinished.
How to complete the Bravil Recommendation quest in Oblivion Remastered
Once you have obtained the required information, go back to Kud-Ei. She will give you three more Beguile spells (will be required for more NPCs). First, go to the Talos Plaza District marker of Imperial City, and head to Soris Arenim. Use a Beguile spell, and raise his disposition, and he will suggest selling you the Staff. You’ll be able to purchase it from him for 200 Gold, and this is what I went with.
Once you take the Staff, take it back to Kud-Ei, which completes the quest.
