The history of Palpagos, or at least some clues to it, are hidden across the Islands in the form of Journal Entries. These are multiple different types of Journal Entries, from Castaway Journals to entries byTower Bosses. Here’s our guide to finding all of them.
For the purposes of ease and to keep this short, I’m using thePalworldcoordinates system to help you locate these Journal Entries. If you’re confused, don’t worry.

Let Palworld’s coordinates be your guide
Justopen your mapand look in thebottom left-hand cornerof the window. Here, you’ll find some numbers. These are your coordinates. Wherever you put your pointer on the map, the coordinates change to reflect it.
When looking for these Journal Entries, your best bet is to place a marker down at the correct coordinates and head towards it. Don’t worry, I’ll tell you which Fast Travel location is closest to each Entry. Once you reach the rough coordinates, look out for theglowing blue tablet deviceon its podium.

By the way, Castaway’s Journal Entry 5 doesn’t exist
I mean, I’m sure it does… Somewhere. But I’ve spent hours searching for it, as haveothers, and no one seems to have found it yet. The completionist side of me is crying over this missing entry, but I’m sure it’s lurking around out there or just an oversight. We’ll update this list as soon as any further information comes to light.
How to check Journal Entries in Palworld
To see which ones you’ve already found, or catch up with the story of Palworld, simply press escape and select “Journals”. Usefully, they’re already separated into sections, and we’re going to follow those sections with this guide.
Castaway’s Journal Entry locations
Zoe Rayne’s Diary locations
You’ll be familiar with Zoe, as she is part of the boss duo from the first Tower. She fights alongside Grizzbolt, and through her Diary Entries, we learn more about her and where she came from.
Lily Everhart’s Diary locations
Lily is the founder of the Free Pal Alliance and fights with her own Pal, Lyleen, in the second Tower. Through her Diary, we learn about why she started the Alliance and her five commandments.
Marcus Dryden’s Diary locations
Marcus and his partner Faleris are the boss duo for the PIDF Tower. Within his entries, we discover that perhaps Marcus isn’t all too happy about his posting on Palpagos.
Victor Ashford’s Diary
Victor, fighting with his buddy Pal Shadowbeak, has a penchant for genetic modification, and his diary entries are… Telling. This man is into some questionable stuff.
Axel Traverse’s Diary locations
The last of the Tower bosses, Axel, only has one diary entry, and it’s basically him begging for a fight worth fighting.
