Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Teal Maskhave introduced a handful of brand new Pokemon, including the new Grass/Ghost-Type Poltchageist. This monster notably made waves forits unique promotional video, which involves Poltchageist… um, making a scene, let’s say. But whether you want this matcha tea cup for your Pokedex completion or for the memes, it’s fortunately rather easy to find. You just need to know where to look.

The easiest way to find Poltchageist inPokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Teal Maskis by looking to the direct east of the Kitakami Hall fast travel point (pictured above). You’ll see a bamboo grove here, which the Pokedex indicates is Poltchageist’s habitat. Travel over here, and you’ll see a glowing wild Tera Type Pokemon. This should, in fact, be a Poltchageist. Simply encounter it, attack it to break its Tera crystal, and then catch it. It’s that easy!

As far as I can tell, you don’t need to wait for a specific time of day for Poltchageist to appear. However, watch out as you’re battling it, as it may know moves like Mega Drain that can make catching it a bit trickier. That’s really all there is to it!
