OUCH.

Capcom’s flagship horror franchiseResident Evilhas shipped over 100 million copies since the series inception way back in 1996. That’s nearly 25 years of zombie dogs, giant spiders, killer plants, wall-crawling Lickers and Ada Waits.

As number-crunched by VG24/7, Capcom had previously announced thatResident Evil– orBiohazardas it is known in its native Japan – had shifted 98 million units as of the end of March 2020. Given that theResident Evil 3remake has shipped over two million copies since its release in April… Well, Do the Math, as the Atari Jaguar once told us.
