Well, this has been a very long time coming. The Xbox Live Video Marketplace has been a practical joke almost everywhere except the United States for ages, butMajor Nelson has today confirmedthat those of us outside the US finally have a real Marketplace to call our own. Well, some of us.

This is surely good news for those among us who were slavering for movies-on-demand delivered straight to their Xbox 360s. For me, it was more a case of “Oh, they haveZodiac, cool. I might get that one day if I feel like it,” and then I turned around to write this post.

The TV shows still consist of crap music videos that miss their target audience by miles (unless hardcore gamers really DO love Jessica Simpson), but it’s still early days. At least it’s a start, though.
