It looks likeStarfieldwill be taking advantage of the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. Through this, owners ofStarfieldwill be able to swap between Xbox Series X|S and PC, without having to buy copies of the game for both systems.

That update was noticed by theStarfield BeyondTwitter account, a profile that (as the name heavily implies) chronicles all things related to Bethesda’s upcoming space epic. TheStarfieldstore pagedoes currently have the tag.

For those who don’t know,Play Anywherelets you own a game on Xbox and Windows-based PCs at no additional cost. This also means your saves will carry over between systems, so you could literally start playing on one and smoothly transition to the other without any fuss.

WithStarfieldoffering the Xbox Play Anywhere feature, it pretty much means you can have two copies of the game with one purchase. Maybe not everyone will benefit from being able to switch playing “Skyrimin space” between console and PC, but it’s a neat little bonus if you’re into that sort of thing.
